Wonderful little place, we shared the Captain's platter seafood plate and thought everything was marvelous. Traveling from Louisiana, we found this to be some of the best Nova Scotia seafood that we have had. Lunch cost us a bit more, but we got their more expensive items. Bread pudding was beautiful

Small place on a back street. Ratings were good. Not a lot on atmosphere but clean and excellent food. Waitress was very good but didn't keep our drinks filled but was friendly and helpful with our menu choices. Would definitely go back for the excellent food. My husband said the chowder was the best he had in Nova Scotia! And the Rappie Pie was a new experience that we loved!

Quaint restaurant, small but welcoming, Friendly staff, lovely service. Modestly priced meals. Light crisp batter on fish - one of the best fish and chips I’ve had. Artwork is awesome. Going to be buying a piece (hopefully) that I sat next to.

What a find this place was! We stayed overnight in Yarmouth and had supper at The Dinner Plate. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming. The service was fast and food was amazing. My husband had the bread pudding for desert. It's his favorite and orders it everywhere we go and he said this one, by far, is his favorite. When it was placed in front of him, all you could smell was warm nutmeg. It was Thanksgiving and Christmas presented in a bowl. Wish we could give more than 5 stars! Can't wait to come back for another visit.

Definitely a 10/10. The food was amazing, and it's better than Irving Big Stop. Highly recommend if you're in Yarmouth NS. Gravy is homemade . Best choice

I’m sure I’ll spell her name wrong but my server Crystal was fantastic. Would recommend if people want a nice relaxed atmosphere with great food come here. I had the scallops and haddock and the lobster poutine. Everything tasted amazing
